As part of our ongoing efforts to improve your experience with Rewardful, we’re making an important update to how we integrate with Stripe. Stripe is phasing out the Stripe Connect integration, and all customers using this will need to migrate to the new Stripe App to continue using Rewardful.

In this article, we’ll explain why this migration is necessary and provide clear steps to help you complete the transition smoothly.

Why Do I Need to Migrate to the Stripe App?

Rewardful tracks referrals and generates commissions by monitoring activity in your Stripe account through the Stripe Connect integration. Since Stripe is deprecating this integration, it’s essential to switch to the new Stripe App to avoid any disruption in service.

What Do I Need to Do?

Migrating to the new Stripe App is quick and easy. Follow these steps to keep your Rewardful account functioning smoothly with Stripe:

Step 1: Install the New Stripe App

Click here to install the Rewardful app from the Stripe Apps Marketplace. You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s platform to authorize the connection.

Step 2: Authorize the Rewardful App

Once in Stripe, follow the on-screen prompts to authorize the connection between Stripe and Rewardful.

Step 3: Confirm the Connection

After authorizing the app, you’ll be redirected back to Rewardful. Your Stripe account will now be connected through the new app, and everything will continue to run as before.

What Happens If I Don’t Migrate?

If you don't migrate to the new Stripe App, your current connection with Stripe will expire. This means that Rewardful will no longer be able to process payments or track affiliate data.

If you have any questions or need assistance during the migration, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hello@rewardful.com.
